Announcements: Update to the modification (amendment) tool A new Modification Tool (Version 2.0) is available to help researchers prepare for updated clinical trials regulations which come into force on 28 April 2026. The tool is currently only available for information purposes so the research community can familiarise themselves with the updated version. It will become fully operational on 28 April 2026 and can be included in modification submissions from that date. The tool reflects the new modification types in the regulations, which apply to clinical trials of investigational medicinal products (CTIMPs).Non-CTIMP studies will also adopt the same terminology and modification categories.
